Our philosophy includes the belief that defective or inadequate antigen (cell surface information) presentation and inadequate T cell recognition of tumor cells are the root cause of the development of most malignancies. We also strongly believe that people with malignancies can have a much higher requirement of vitamin C and that vitamin C, given in adequate intravenous doses, can exert potent anti-tumor effects. We further believe that the use of effective inhibitors of angiogenesis (new blood vessel growth) is a useful anti-tumor strategy by itself and enhances the effectiveness of immune-based therapies.

Clinical research has shown that there are five basic anti-tumor strategies:

1. Direct cytoxicity (cell killing)

2. Angiogenesis inhibition (cutting off blood supply to tumors)

3. Apoptosis induction (programmed cell death)

4. Redifferentiation (cells revert back to normal)

5. Immune system boosting
